Further to Drew’s report on last week’s superb win for the Ladies over Reigate Priory, Suzie Wood has also penned us a “player’s eye” report…

Women’s Surrey Trust League – 13th July 2011
Stoke Molesey Ladies 90 for 2 (15 overs)
Oxted & Limpsfield Ladies 91 for 2 (13.5overs)
Oxted & Limpsfield Ladies won by 8 wickets
After last week’s home victory against Oxted, Stoke Molesey Ladies travelled to their ground for the second Surrey Trust League match of the season. Stoke Molesey Ladies took a different squad from the previous week with four players making their debut in competitive cricket and for two of them it was their first ever introduction to cricket.
Best wishes

Match Reports for the Surrey Championship matches appear elsewhere on this site, (as does Tim Dyer’s account of the Under 17s Cup win), but the club has enjoyed success at other levels over the weekend…
Under 9s
Johnny Lawes writes : “…In the Horsley & Send Under 9 Tournament played on Monday 31st May the boys did fantastically well in winning the plate final, (beating the winners of the main competition, Teddington, in the group stages.) They played 5 games throughout the day and I can’t name a man of the tournament as they all played well and each contributing with bat and ball. It was a long day but great fun and boys were a credit to the club.”
