Kingstonian 2nd XI 215 all out (43.3 overs)
Stoke D’Abernon 2nd XI 159 all out (31.4 overs)
Kingstonian 2nd XI won by 56 runs

With divisional status assured for next season it was just a question of whether Stoke’s 2nd XI could end on a high and deny Kingstonian the title, subject to investigation of potential player ineligibility. Read more

Trinity Midwhitgiftian 2nd XI 127 all out (36.1 overs)
Stoke D’Abernon 2nd XI 133 for 3 (26.5 overs)
Stoke D’Abernon 2nd XI won by 7 wickets

Stoke’s 2nd XI travelled to Croydon knowing that a reasonably unlikely set of results might spell danger for them, but one win would ensure Division 4 status maintained after promotion last year. In contrast Trinity, who pre-game were of the mindset that this was a dead rubber, now face the real prospect of relegation if they lose at Addiscombe next week and Hampton Hill beat already relegated Merstham or lose with extra bonus points. Winning Draw to Stoke D’Abernon 2nd XI

A result neither side really wanted but Stoke will feel the better having secured a winning draw from a position of almost certain defeat. Read more

After the frustration of last week Stoke’s 2nd XI ended in a similar in-game position this, but this this time got the job done with plenty of overs to spare to register a long overdue first win of the season. Read more

Stoke 6-a-side Review

A break from the normal suite of long format and T20 matches saw a cross section of the entire membership assemble at HQ for the second edition of the 6-a-side tournament expertly run by Toby Tarrant and Tom Frost. Old Pauline 2nd XI won by 1 wicket

Still not at full-strength the 2nd XI suffered a second defeat in as many matches at Old Pauline, the winning runs hit by Wisden’s Head of Content Yas Rana. Read more
