Surrey Trust League Update

Despite the days seemingly getting shorter the time has come for the entry process for the Surrey Trust League for 2016 to begin.

The feedback the League has received in the close season has been discussed and the rules, age limits and entry fees will remain unchanged for the new season. However, there is a high probability that there will be some regionalisation of the Trust League to some extent. The method will depend on the entries received and there will still be a draw of some kind at the AGM at Walton-on-Thames CC on Tuesday November 24th at 7.30pm. Read more

E-mails from the Trust League & U19 T20 Organisers

We have had two e-mails from Eric at the Surrey Trust League regarding the two competitions we entered this year:

U21 Trust League
The curtain has closed on another Surrey Trust League season. Sanderstead won the STL’s Chris Bullen Trophy and Banstead won the Wasim Raja Shield. In the Development League, Normandy won the Trophy. Spencer won the Shield…and forgot to take it home with them. Old Whitgiftians and Addiscombe hosted the Finals Days. Read more

Sunday Cricket Washed Out

No cricket today as the rain finally caught up with us and caused our first washouts of the year.

The Stoke Rec was marginal at best, and another heavy shower this morning put paid to any chances of play, (the morning Under 12 match was also called off); so the next action at the Rec will be on Tuesday evening when the Stoke Under 19s host Esher in a must win T20 Blast match. The list of clubs entered for the Surrey Trust League in 2015 has been released.

As in previous years, we will be entering the U21 League, but not the Development League.
