Old Hamptonians won by 4 wickets
Stoke surrendered top place in the division but remain in the promotion places despite a home defeat to Old Hamptonians.

Stoke’s 1st XI maintained their position at the summit of the division with an efficient ‘put in & chase’ performance against Horsley & Send who were captained by former Stoker Brian Berthoud. There was a 1st XI debut for Thomas Dennis.

Stoke maintained their position at the top of the division with a deserved victory over bottom of the table Weybridge Vandals.

Cobham Avorians won by 16 runs
A 78-ball hundred from Will Gudgeon, including five maximums that took him to the top of the list of all-time six-hitters for the Club, was not quite enough to pull off a victory that looked very unlikely after Stoke were 132 for 7 in the pursuit of the home side’s total of 300 for 9.
