Maori Oxshott 173 for 8 (50 overs)
Stoke D’Abernon 171 all out (49.2 overs)

‘Winning Draw’ to Churt

The top two sides met at Churt’s picturesque ground, and whilst the match had enough quality to justify its top billing, it ended in a rather flat draw with the home side choosing to defend their position in the table, as anyone would have done, Stoke unable to mount the necessary charge to secure additional match and bonus points. Stoke progress in Surrey Championship T20

Tuesday 14th June 2016
Surrey Championship T20 – Round 2
Stoke D’Abernon v Maori Oxshott
Stoke D’Abernon won on bowl-out

Despite a great effort from Messers Hopton and Miller to get the Stoke Rec playable, a sensible decision was taken not to play with a large proportion of the square reduced to mud, and water coming up under feet in places.
