Battersea Ironsides won by 59 runs

Stoke’s 1st XI ended their 2015 league campaign with a home defeat to Battersea Ironsides and dropped to fifth place in the table, (from their starting position of third), due to results elsewhere. Read more

Stoke D’Abernon won on Faster Scoring Rate

Stoke’s 1st XI held on to 3rd place in the table after a victory over an already relegated Godalming that owed as much to the weather as their own merit. Read more

A dead rubber as regards qualification for either side, but players still had records to put on the line, (and for Stoke the wooden spoon to avoid), and they put on a good show at the Rec. Read more

Weybridge Vandals won by 7 wickets

Stoke’s 1st XI fell to a disappointing defeat at Weybridge Vandals in a match that would effectively see the loser hand a massive advantage to the winner and the other two clubs above them with games running out. Read more

Trust League Play-Off Qualification now impossible after loss to Ashtead

A step forward followed by a step backwards for Stoke’s 1st XI as we squandered a good position batting first and posted a below par total. We took seven Oxshott wickets in reply but now need favours from others plus, realistically, wins in the last five 50-over matches to have any chance of playing in a higher division next season.
