This weekend Stoke hosted Sheen Park in a hotly contested match. This was not the original after the original oppositon could not raise a side. Sheen Park responded to a fixture advert and helped produce a great game!

After a wet start to the day Stoke proceeded to play Claygate as a part of their annual cricket week. Gavin Greese won the toss for Stoke and elected to bat, after waiting 20 minutes to get bails and a ball Sam Bradford-Smith and Adam Cooke started the innings off on a sticky pitch.
Stoke’s Sunday XI travelled to Twickenham and repeated their 2008 victory.
The hosts chose to bat but Mike Carty, (3-24), late call up from the Guildford club scene Jack Raimondo, (2-31), and Peter Phipps, (2-24), reduced them to 71 for 7.
M.Bendelow added respectability to the score with 35 before becoming one of two victims for the mercurial Roy Johns, (2-11) – Johns’ wickets sandwiched a wicket for Sandy Henderson.
