Membership
We are pleased to confirm that membership for the 2024 season is now open. Please join as per last season using Pitchero. Please purchase your membership through Pitchero on-line – https://www.pitchero.com/clubs/stokedabernoncricketclub/signup – or through the mobile app. As with last season, please go to the trolley and pick your correct membership as there are a few options depending on yours/your child’s team/age/student status. 2023 has been a busy year for Stoke D’Abernon CC. I want to take this opportunity to thank all the people that volunteer for the Club, all the captains, managers, scorers, umpires, grounds &  bar staff and all those that have helped out. Why are we Crowdfunding?
Nets are the foundation which a large element of cricket training is based upon. Our current nets are in need of an upgrade and require modernisation to meet current standards. With only two lanes available we also do not have the capacity required to support recent growth in our Junior section or the increased number of senior league teams we are now fielding. With many more junior and senior members we need to upgrade to four lanes so that every player can get the net practice time they need. Read more

Fundraising Starts for New Nets

Dear All,

We have launched our 24 Hour Sponsored Nets for New Nets appeal. PLEASE read on, as this is important for the future of the Club!

Why are we doing this?
We urgently need at least two new practice nets at the Stoke Rec. Our existing nets are no longer in an acceptable state. To provide meaningful training and coaching for our members, young and old, we need to develop new nets. Read more

Sunday – Three matches and much fun

Sunday 3rd September 2023

A busy day at a sun-drenched Rec that saw three matches and the till ringing with bucket hat and other sales, competitions and raffles.

After a colts’ 50-ball match in the morning, there were two other games for people to watch whilst the day, set up to help raise funds towards the nets, was in full swing. Read more

Hampton Court Half Marathon – Help Raise Club Funds

The 2023 cricket season is just a few weeks away and we can’t wait to get started.

Ahead of the new season, eight of the senior players as well as long time Club supporter Julie Fitzwater have decided to run the Hampton Court half-marathon in a desperate attempt to regain some sort of fitness before the first League game and also to raise vital funds for the Club. Read more

Stoke Smash 2

After a two year break the Stoke Smash was back, bigger and better.

BACKGROUND
With the 1st XI playing all-day games, the 2s also playing at various parts of the county each week, the 3rd XI playing on out-grounds, (throw in the Sunday, Over 40s and age group matches that are also played), the chance to get everyone from all parts of the Club together is always a challenge, but this event ticks that box.
