Back in 1986 a little village club in Stoke D’Abernon travelled to Bramley needing a win to secure promotion from the second division of the Morrant Wey Valley League, a competition several divisions below even the bottom division of the Surrey Championship. So we’re about to start our 11th season in the Surrey Championship, and our first in Division 2 after three successive promotions.

Academy Lose in Record STL Match Aggregate

A much-changed Academy side from the one defeated two weeks ago was unable to reverse that result, and came second in a boundary hitting competition on another hot afternoon. The match aggregate of 601 runs was the highest in any Trust League match Stoke have played in. Read more
