Six Nations – AND POKER – Saturday 23rd

Last Saturday saw the club open for the Six Nations and a decent turnout saw Ireland and England score early wins.

Surrey Championship mourns the passing of David Edwards

Dreadful news has reached us that Surrey Championship Secretary David Edwards passed away yesterday.

David was very supportive of Stoke’s admission to the Championship ahead of the 2009 season, and many of us will have spoken to him in person when reporting results. Hiken Shah stuck around for more than an hour to make an unbeaten 41, and put on an unbroken 50-run stand with the first day’s hero Dhawal Kulkarni. Read more
