AGM Headlines – New President, New League Captains

Sunday 27th February 2011 saw a well attended Annual General meeting at HQ.

Thanks to those who attended given the that it was half-term week and the India v England World Cup match was on at the same time.

Further to our earlier news item, Philip Jansen was confirmed as our new President. Philip spoke to the assembled audience, and spent much time after the meeting speaking individually to those who stayed behind. Welcome on board, Philip – you couldn’t wish to be associated with a better club!

AGM – Sunday 27th February 2011

Dear Members

I am writing to confirm that our Annual General Meeting will take place on Sunday 27th February 2011 in our clubhouse, commencing at 12.00pm.

Below are links to the agenda, the minutes from last year’s meeting, and a short ‘Bio’ on Philip Jansen. Philip has been selected by your committee as the preferred candidate to fill the vacant Post of Club President. He has agreed to do the job for 3 years and will provide excellent external advice and support for me and the committee, as we embark on the ambitious project to improve and extend our pavilion at a cost of approximately £180,000. Philip will attend the AGM and his appointment is subject to approval by our members, so please try to attend and support his selection.
