An omen for this Thursday?
Stoke’s Under 12s are through to the next round of the cup with an impressive win over Camberley, after choosing to bat first on winning the toss.
Sadly our good friends at Kempton were unable to raise a Sunday XI to play us this week.
After advertising that we had a ground and a team ready to play, we’re please to advise that our old friends from Twickenham have contacted us, (having lost their own Sunday opposition), and we are now playing them.
The first match reports from the Colts this year provide a mixture of joy and sadness.
The Under 11s won at Normandy. Alistair Ramsay takes up the story:
“A victory by eleven runs for Stoke D’Abernon U11s in our first game of the season away at Normandy.
Our Surrey Championship T20 match away to Camberley has been fixed for Thursday 9th May, 6pm start.
If you haven’t done so already, please let Will Gudge and Ralphie know if you wish to be considered for selection.
Stoke Molesey Ladies began the 2013 season with a win at Rowledge in the Surrey Trust League.

Hi Everyone!
Just a short report about my London Marathon run on Sunday.
Myself and John travelled up together to what was a fantastic day in every way!!! The weather was great, probably a bit too warm for me, but the whole event was just so inspiring from start to finish.
SDCC has had an exchange e-mails with former T20 & Surrey Trust League Captain and all-round top man Gavin Gresse, who is now back in his native South Africa.
Gav writes:
I must say the new kit looks amazing you guys are doing a great job at the club and I am sure the results will come.
Good luck to Malcolm Dickson and John Crisp who are running the London Marathon for the first(!) and second time respectively to day.
