Keith Watson 8 for 35

Whilst the weather continues to do its worst SDCC has been contacting a few clubs for some missing results to complete the club records.

Extra Sunday fixture secured at Sutton this coming weekend

The Sunday XI friendly programme wasn’t meant to start in earnest until the 13th, but due to good numbers being available we have been able to advertise early for an extra fixture for this Sunday.

Not only does giving availability as soon as possible help us plan all teams for the weekend, it allows us to get in early when fixtures become available…and this week one of the leading clubs in Surrey, Sutton CC, have contacted us asking us to come and play against them. Read more

Senior Cricket Season finally starts tonight!

Further to our last news item, senior cricket finally begins tonight when a Stoke XI captained by Jack Raimondo travels to Cobham Avorians for a T20 match.

Please make every effort to come down and support the team.

6pm start and the bar will be open.

John Crisp completes Marathon

Congratulations to John Crisp on completing the London Marathon at the weekend. Whilst he’s resting his limbs he’s taken time to pen this message to the Stoke massive:“It is all over, and I can safely say that 4 months’ beer abstinence was well worth it.

Caitlin Whiteley to Captain Surrey Under 13s

Further good news for the Stoke Molesey Ladies section:

We are delighted to announce that Caitlin Whiteley has been selected to be co-captain of the Surrey U13 Girls.
