Craig Kieswetter spoils Hoppy’s Day/Night

Stirred into contacting SDCC following our recent World News items, Hoppy dialled in to say that he was involved in a match at Newlands for the Rondesbosch Old Boys against Bishops OD in the Tullyallen Trophy.

The opposition included Craig Kieswetter, (http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/content/player/230855.html); former Chipstead, Ashtead and Cardiff & MCC Uni bat Zac Elkin, (http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/content/player/437418.html & http://ccwcc.play-cricket.com/website/player_stats_widget/batting_stats/620339?rule_type_id=179), and former Weybridge and Surrey 2s player James Crowson, (http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/content/player/481813.htmlhttp://weybridge.play-cricket.com/website/player_stats_widget/batting_stats/1376356?rule_type_id=179), the latter was on the losing side when Stoke defeated Weybridge in the 2012 Surrey Championship T20. 2015 Surrey Championship Fixtures Released

The 2015 Surrey Championship Fixtures have been released.

Stoke start with a home & away local derby double-header with Maori Oxshott, less than two weeks after the sides meet in a Sunday XI friendly match.

Thereafter the 1st XI have three home games to complete the first month of 50-over fixtures. This year there isn’t a consistent pattern of home, away, home, away, etc; a point of interest for the 2nd XI who have three road-trips in the first month, but then the majority of the 100-over games at the Stoke Rec.
