Nat into WBBL Final

What a difference a week or so makes. Going into the last week of the regular season with qualification uncertain, Perth won their final group game against the Melbourne Renegades to make the semi-finals against the Sydney Thunder.

Nat made runs, (she also made runs against the Renegades), took catches and effected a run out to help secure a place on Sunday morning’s final.

Set your alarms for Sunday morning for the final between Perth and the Sydney Sixers.

In South Africa last weekend Shawn backed up his unbeaten 54 in the first innings the previous week with figures of 13.1-7-26-4 in the second, but ended up being part of a block out for a draw after WPCC’s opposition, (league leaders), were able to bat longer than expected in their second innings to set a tricky 4th innings target.

In the Caribbean, the West Indies domestic 50-over competition has started…including Hampshire and Kent! The return of Test players to the squads has meant no place in the Barbados team for Anthony so far.
