Former Club Secretary Andrew Hall was back at Stoke on Sunday as his son was playing for Teddington’s Under 8s.
Andrew contacted us with these comments:
“Hi! Young Hall enjoyed his game at Stoke yesterday. You’ve some really good little bowlers there.
Little blonde kid and little ginger kid both strong bowlers.
Young Ollie H was wicketless although bowled a brilliant last over, (according to him!), in fact we only took one wicket and that was a run out!
We didn’t hit a boundary either so a bit of a mauling. We had a ‘mixed ability’ side out as we had a home game. I don’t think we’ve put out a first choice team all season.
Brilliant that we got the game in at all. Please beg the council to cut the grass, though!
We’re there again next week; I won’t be, sadly, as I have a work commitment.”
