A good weekend for the Under 9s, keeping their unbeaten record going.
On Saturday we played a strong Spencer A side and had a comfortable victory, posting 304 for 8 in reply to Spencer’s 267 for 9.
Alex W was top run scorer and wicket taker, but all the boys including Sam C and Louis W from the Under 8s, and Toby B from the Under 7s had great games with bat and ball.
On Sunday the Under 9s beat neighbours Oxshott in the Gladys Chitty League opener, posting 278 off our 20 overs and restricting Oxshott to 256.

A good win today against in our Gladys Chitty match against Woking & Horsell CC. Our boys put on 114 for 10 wkts in their 20 overs before bowling Woking out for 89. Best bowler was Zack C, returning 3 for 11 in 3 overs; but man of the match was Joe W, who retired on 33.
