The BBC and Sky Sports websites both used pictures containing Stoker Adam Cooke in the crowd at the France v England match yesterday evening:

Work commitments recently took Adam out of the area but he still stays in touch with us and will always try to play the odd game when he is back in town.

A player who was completely reliable when it came to giving availability and helping with Club events, what isn’t reflected in Adam’s Stoke stats below is the tremendous contribution he made to our age-group cricket, notably managing the Under 17s to a group win and semi-final berth; and he was a regular member, and occasional captain, of our friendly Sunday XI, (all this whilst doing his University degree), earning this deserved gift when he moved away a couple of years ago.
