The Surrey Championship have issued the following statement with regard to next season’s League fixtures:

We predicted that 2016 fixtures would be published by mid-November but we are aware we’ve not met that aim. This is because discussions about the structure and size of divisions at 3rd and 4th XI level have taken much longer to resolve than hoped. The process for producing fixtures – mainly computerised but with some manual “tweaking” – does have interdependence between fixtures for 1st and 2nd XIs and those for 3rd and 4th XIs, so we cannot publish any fixtures until all decisions about the divisional make-ups are finalised. We apologise for the delay, but can reassure clubs that we are underway. We will continue to update clubs on progress.

A reminder that Stoke’s Trust League Fixtures are all finalised, (the STL Committee have also issued the women & girls’ fixtures) ;the Sunday XI friendly programme is nearing completion and the Under 19 T20 Blast fixtures will be finalised when the groups are advised by the STL Committee.
