Words from praise from Emma, though, who writes:

I hope everyone has recovered from the match. A great effort from all, sadly not to be this time. Some fantastic batting from Alex and Amy, but I think the best fielding from the girls I think I’ve seen in a long time – awesome catches from Amy, Charlotte and Katie.

Also, a really big thank you to Angelise & Louise for stepping up and playing for us. We also can’t forget a huge well done to Ailsa for playing her first cricket match at the tender age of 9! She played brilliantly! Keep it up.

Onwards and upwards Stoke Molesey!!

Next Match:
Sunday 10th May 2015 vs Oxted & Limpsfield (2pm start)
Venue: Molesey Hurst Recreation Ground, Dunstall Way, East Molesey KT8 1PD

Please make every effort to go along and support the girls.

Whilst on the subject of Women’s Cricket, Surrey CCC Ladies, (pictured below), won two games in two days against Sussex and Berkshire, the latter a real nail-biter.

Nat Sciver appeared in both games with contrasting fortunes with the bat. Some wickets as well:

Surrey CCC Coach Jeremy Greaves was interviewed after the Berkshire match. Click here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWjdK3txnqM

Jeremy is known to many Stokers from his time at Farncombe. Hopefully Jake Lavender, (now back at Malden Wanderers), no longer has nightmares! (http://sdacc.play-cricket.com/website/results/1394539)
