This defeat is possibly a mortal wound in Berea’s title prospects but there are still games to play…

Note some more Pros using the KZN Premier League 50 Over Competition as preparation for the Domestic Season. We previously mentioned Neil Dexter’s arrival at Berea. Joe Denly, (http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/content/player/12454.html), is now there as well.

In the same league, Jono helped himself to three wickets as Delta moved away from the lower reaches of the table with a win.

In India, Hiken-less Mumbai needed to win their last two matches to stand any chance of progress in the Ranji Trophy. They did the business over Baroda and now face group leaders Karnataka with favourable results needed in addition to their own. (http://www.espncricinfo.com/ranji-trophy-2014-15/engine/series/775441.html?view=pointstable) Mumbai have kept the winning squad for this match so he misses out again, (http://www.mumbaicricket.com/mca/news/news_detail.asp?id=863), but hopefully he’ll get a chance in the later rounds if they progress.

We’re still waiting on some news on Hoppy. We can only assume he hasn’t put up any worthwhile numbers to share with the world!!!

Stay tuned for more World News…
