Paulie’s XI win again / Other World News

The KZN 50 Over Premier League has resumed after the Christmas break. Paulie was missing for the first game of the new year, but he was back in the Berea side for their latest win to maintain their title challenge:

At the other end of the table, Jono’s Delta side scored a much needed win in the latest round of matches:

We are trying to get Hoppy to e-mail us some links to his matches but nothing, yet(!), although he had advised that he is now team-mates with Jordan Rollins, formerly of Dorking, who has joined him at Western Province.

Meanwhile in other parts of the world, Mumbai continue to struggle in the Ranji Trophy without Hiken in the side. An innings defeat to Tamil Nadu, (, being their latest batting horror show. Hiken has advised that he is doing his best to earn a recall. Watch this space…

Another loose connection to Stoke comes in the form of Brian Barnard, (Byfleet CC in 2013 and 2014), who faced us last season. After a few runs against the England Lions, (, he was only required to bat once after a recall to First Class cricket. ( We have also spotted this item on CricX showing that he is now moving on from Byfleet and trying his luck in Staffordshire in 2015 :
