Nat Sciver and Ashes Trophy at Stoke on Saturday

We’re delighted to inform you that our ladies squad will be joined by Nat Sciver on Saturday at the Stoke Rec for some training and a few photo opportunities.

Natalie recently joined Bob Willis on our Roll of Honour as the second Stoke D’Abernon player to have played for England as a senior international. She was a member of our original record-breaking group of ladies who played for the club in their early teens, before she moved on at the age of 18 to Purley Redoubtables and Loughborough University. She is now 21 years old and played for England in the recent series against Australia, featuring in several useful batting partnerships to help win the Ashes.

Natalie will at our club from 11am to 3pm on Saturday. The bar will be open from noon, (the same time the men’s match against Twickenham kicks off), and there will be plenty of photo and autograph opportunities, so please pop down if you’d like to meet an England player!
