Tom L already has experience of adult cricket with Stoke, (beating Dad – http://sdacc.play-cricket.com/scoreboard/scorecard.asp?id=11576934), and was very close to selection for one of the Surrey Trust League matches earlier this year.

Whilst fielding this news, SDCC enquired about Lawes Snr’s recovery from injury and his prospects for turning out for Stoke this year. The reply was : “Playing a 20:20 tonight so will let you know how I go but don’t expect me back this season.”
