Marathon News from Malcolm

Hi Everyone!

Just a short report about my London Marathon run on Sunday.

Myself and John travelled up together to what was a fantastic day in every way!!! The weather was great, probably a bit too warm for me, but the whole event was just so inspiring from start to finish.

I ran with John for about the first 5 miles then we went our separate ways. I managed to crawl round in 4hrs 38mins, and even though I didn’t hit my target, I was just so chuffed to have completed the course. I would definitely do it again, and hopefully be a little more knowledgeable about the run to improve on my time!

Currently, the total I’ve raised for Macmillan Cancer Support is around £1,600 and I must thank all of you again for your donations and the support you’ve given me over recent months. Anyway, enough about me, let’s play cricket!!!

I’m giving my feet a rest for a week, but will try and get down over the weekend and cheer you guys on; against Oxted on Saturday, then in the local derby at Oxshott on Sunday.

Thanks!!!!

Malc
