STOKE LADIES

At the weekend the Stoke Ladies won their second match of the season against Ashford by 109 runs. Claire Trafford hit an unbeaten 120 and Rosie McEwing led the bowling effort with 3 for 25.

SURREY LADIES

Amy Page, Lucy Binns and Nat Sciver, (pictured at the steps of the Brit Oval changing rooms by Pagie Snr), were all selected for the Surrey 1st XI squad at the weekend, (http://surreywomen.play-cricket.com/scoreboard/scorecard.asp?id=10897547), and helped seal a 28 run win.

Our talented trio will also play against Worcestershire next Sunday. Followers of the site will note we have recently had as many as four selections. Fear not, Sophie Pout is still very much on the radar but dislocated a thumb playing for the Surrey Under 17s. She still had time to top score, though!
