National Club Champions Chester-le-Street were given a bye when the National Club Championship First Round draw was made this week.
The Durham side, who beat Spencer at Derby to life the trophy last summer, will avoid the opening round which has thrown up some intriguing ties.
A total of 255 teams have entered the competition with first round matches due to be played on Sunday May 16.
In Group 1 Yorkshire Premier side Scarborough will host Blaydon from the North East Premier Division. Both clubs finished runners-up in their respective leagues last season.
In Group 2 York, who were crowned Yorkshire Premier Champions last year, were paired with Beverley Town who were runners-up in the York & District Senior.
Two sides who always target success in the competition are Bamford Fieldhouse and Liverpool Competition Champions Firwood Bootle and they have been drawn against each other in Group 5.
Bragging rights in the East Midlands will be at stake when Derbyshire champions Ockbrook & Borrowash take on Leicestershire winners Lutterworth in Group 8.
In Group 10 Sidmouth, who are Devon Champions but new to the competition, take on Taunton St Andrews who won the West of England Premier last season.
It will be Surrey v Sussex in Group 16 where Sutton, Surrey Premier winners, take on East Grinstead.
